Highlights from Annual Dinner 28thFebruary 2020

 

Welcomes:

Attendees:

Around 200 past pupils, teachers and guests were there for a most enjoyable occasion in Clontarf Castle. Alumni arrived from all corners of Ireland as well as the USA, Belgium and the UK for an evening of reminiscing, catching up, meeting the current and past principals and teachers as well as finding how what was now happening in Joeys.

 

Programme for the evening:

Principal of Secondary School, Pat O’Brien, presented Student Awards to Yousuf Tanvir and Conor McGee Moore.

   

He then addressed the audience: 

 

Liam Twohig, representing 1970 (50th anniversary year) then said a few words:

We then presented our video, outlining the current issues facing the school and what the combined team of Joeys Alumni, Principals, Board of Management and teachers are doing to make things happen:
