Neart Le Chéile - Priority Areas where help required to form sub-committees

The committee of Joeys Alumni meets approx. 8 time a year. However, peoples’ time is a scarce commodity and we’ve had to find ways to make things happen by asking as many as possible of our past pupils to help in ways that dovetail their time availability with our priority needs. There’s no need to fear that you will be sucked into a huge time commitment – each volunteer can contribute as it suits them – even if this entails attending occasional events or using their skills or other resources to help us out. 

At the moment we have a number of sub-committees, helping to get things done, without having to attend committee meetings. However, the bigger the sub-committee, the more we can achieve.

Priority areas where we need your help right now are:

• Infrastructure - Need a Committee of Past Pupils with expertise in Construction / Planning, who might assist with long term plan for the school 

• Marketing - We need to develop a recruitment plan for the school to ensure we maximize the P-Tech opportunity.

• Golf - We need to support the Golf outing with younger Past Pupils who might broaden our reach 

• Networking - We need to develop our networking event with a committee that can reach out to all decades 

• Long-term funding - A group that will put a structured program together to secure contributions from Past Pupils to support the Alumni long-term funding (a lot of groundwork already done here)
